When fall arrives in Hamilton County, it brings harvest fields, crisp air, and plenty of apple cider. Located just outside Noblesville, Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch invites you to slow down and enjoy the autumn season at its annual Country Fall Festival.

 

The Russell family has been farming for more than 50 years and opened their first pumpkin patch in 2022. Since then, the farm has welcomed visitors to experience farm life and fall traditions. The pumpkin patch has grown into one of Central Indiana’s favorite fall destinations and has expanded each year to accommodate school field trips and tours.

 

Each autumn, the farm opens its gates for its annual Country Fall Festival, running from late September through October and offering activities for all ages.

 

2026 Information

The Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch is open from September 26 to October 31, 2026. The weekly Country Fall Festival runs every Saturday and Sunday until October 31.

 

Admission to the pumpkin patch and festival (when open) is $17, free for children two and under, and $10 for veterans, active military, and those over 70. Groups of 15 or more pay $15 per person Wednesday through Sunday. The ticket price includes unlimited activities, with optional pumpkin painting crafts costing around $5-12. There is no fee for browsing or purchasing pre-picked pumpkins, straw, fall decor, or shopping at the Country Store.

 

What You’ll Find at the Festival

There’s no shortage of things to do – that’s what makes it so special! Admission includes unlimited access to activities on the farm, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon (or more) exploring. With more than 25 activities, the experience blends classic farm fun with just enough adventure to keep kids and grown-ups equally entertained.

 

Pumpkins are a separate cost, but admission includes fan-favorite activities, such as:

  • Scenic hayrides to the pumpkin patch
  • Corn mazes and scavenger hunts
  • Petting zoo encounters with friendly farm animals
  • Pedal karts, rides, and games
  • A towering 26-foot slide for thrill-seekers
  • Bounce houses and inflatables
  • An infant play area

 

The petting zoo and animal encounters feature Boer goats, pygmy goats, turkeys, pigs, miniature horses, peacocks, ducks, chickens, and more!

 

Pro Tip: Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes that can get dirty.

 

Fall Treats and Shopping

Your visit to Russell Farms wouldn’t be complete without seasonal treats. At the Red Food Bar, sip an apple cider slushie, grab a warm snack, cheeseburger, and donuts, or browse the Country Store for take-home goodies. You’ll find fall decorations, fudge, apple butter, toys, candles, clothing, candy, apple cider, and more.

 

Picnic tables are available, unshaded and under a tent, for everyone's convenience.

 

Tips for Visiting

To make the most of your visit, a little planning goes a long way:

  • Arrive early to enjoy popular attractions first
  • Plan for a full day so you don’t feel rushed
  • Bring a camera (or your phone) - there are several photo opportunities!
  • Please keep pets at home.

 

The festival typically runs on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with select weekday hours available during the season.
