Earth Day Volunteer Event

Overview
Earth Day was founded in 1970 and is now celebrated in over 193 countries. The purpose of Earth Day is to demonstrate support for the environment and Earth’s precious natural habitats. It happens to fall in the midst of spring, which is a great time to establish native plants, allowing them to mature with the spring rains and flourish with the warm weather to come. Bring the whole family along to celebrate Earth Day with us as we plant native species at the Woodland Gardens of Central Park. All are welcome to volunteer with this planting.
Volunteers 16 years and under will require the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Programs subject to change or cancellation due to COVID-19 and/or governor guidelines.*All information is accurate at the time of posting – content is subject to change.
