Things to Do in Forest Park

It’s easy to spend a few hours exploring Forest Park and the surrounding area. Play a round of golf at the Forest Park Golf Course, a 9-hole course spanning 55 acres. Fun fact: this is Hamilton County’s first golf course, established in 1927.

Children can play putt-putt on the “Tom Thumb” miniature golf course, ride the historic “Little Beauty” Carousel or play on the playground equipment.

Forest Park is ideal for social gatherings, with picnic areas, shelters with grills and volleyball sand courts, horseshoe pits, and the Forest Park Inn banquet facility, which can also host weddings.

The park also has baseball fields, tennis courts, and a skate park. Take a dip in the pool at the Forest Park Aquatic Center, featuring a heated 50-meter Olympic-size pool with 10 lanes and a water slide. There’s even a separate diving pool with one and three-meter diving boards. This is where Olympic diver David Boudia trained when he grew up in Noblesville.

Take a walk or ride your bike on the River Greenway Trail which runs through the park. It connects south to downtown Noblesville and the Historic Noblesville Square and north to Potter’s Bridge Park.
