The Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration is one of the state’s largest cultural celebrations that is bringing together music, food, heritage and the community from July 10-20, 2025. If you’re staying in Hamilton County, here’s your guide of more to explore in Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and Westfield  during your visit.

Fuel up for a full day of festivities with Rosie’s Place’s hearty breakfast classics like their farm style eggs benedict. Looking to spice up your morning? Eggshell Bistro serves “twistorical” dishes—crafted plates that highlight historic global recipes with a creative spin like caprese strata or shakshuka. For a casual and comfort meal, Bub’s Burgers & Ice Cream is a local legend. Located along the Monon Trail, head there for a juicy burger and handcrafted milkshakes. Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse BBQ is also serving up slow-smoked ribs that will not only fall off the bone, but also make you fall in love with their dishes. End your night with a sweet treat at The Cake Bake Shop or cool off with a cone from Fundae’s Ice Cream & Sweets.

There are plenty of places in Hamilton County where you can enjoy a drink paired with a sunset. Sip in style at 3UP Rooftop Bar where their most popular drinks are the Cucumber Margarita and Rooftop Rendezvous. You can also find a chic Italian bar with drinks like the Blueberry Sage Fizz or Summer ’75 spritz at The Italian House on Park. Wanting a pub? Hamilton County’s fan favorite is Sun King with two locations in Carmel and Fishers. For something more elegant, check out Urban Vines Winery & Brewery.
