But the simplicity allows for mouthwatering possibilities with unique twists – think peanut butter or even an egg.

Methodology: This is an all-time list of the top 10 restaurants with burgers in Hamilton County according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the restaurant category that mentioned burgers in reviews and are not part of a national chain, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews.

1. Bru Burger Bar – Carmel

BRU features gourmet chef burgers using locally-sourced meats and vegetables. You can’t go wrong with the namesake Bru Burger with taleggio cheese, bacon, tomato jam, caramelized onion, chopped lettuce and mayo. Other popular burgers include the Bourbon Burger with peppercorn-bourbon glaze, Provençal with herbed goat cheese, and Melt Your Face with all things habañero and jalapeño.

“I recently moved out of state, and my boyfriend and I continue to talk about how we wish we could find a burger place like Bru Burger where we live now. The burgers are always cooked to perfection with the right amount of flavor, and the fries are the right combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.” – Yelper Sara M.

2. The Pint Room

Located on Main Street in the Carmel Arts & Design District, The Pint Room serves gourmet burgers alongside its enormous menu of craft beer – more than 100 drafts, to be precise. 5. 101 Beer Kitchen

Find 101 Beer Kitchen in the Fishers District, a restaurant dedicated to rustic food, craft beer and how they pair well together. “This was our first time in and all we could say is WOW. Service and food were phenomenal. I got the 101 Burger and my husband got the pretzel-crusted chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things about this experience. It's definitely a must-try.” – Yelper Rachel D.
